Aurelio Forero Tascón has forged a career as a project manager and entrepreneur in both large corporations as well as in the startup environment. He worked at Legis, a firm that provides business intelligence to companies and professionals, as Head of Strategy and Projects.
He began his career in project finance at BBVA’s investment banking division. He later worked at the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce as head of the office of Electronic Services.
At Legis, he redesigned and led the competitive strategic planning processes for the corporate group of 10 business units, 5 Latin American subsidiaries and 5 support service units. For three years he also managed the Continuing Education business unit, which achieved sales growth of 96.64% in two years.
Aurelio also pursued his entrepreneurial interests with the 2008 launch of TAO Studio Ltd, a food and beverage company providing event-planning, chef management services and unique hands-on cooking and dining experiences for corporate clients. TAO’s successes include organizing the second largest wine fair in Colombia and achieving annual sales of $800 million COP.
Aurelio holds an MBA degree from the University of Greenwich in London.
