Alex Graham

IE MBA ’15

Alex completed his MBA at IE Business School in Madrid where he earned Dean’s List and Beta Gamma Sigma honors and won its annual Entrepreneurship Prize. His studies included strategy consulting projects with the Hot Hotels travel app and General Electric. Prior to this his career was in banking, working at HSBC, Morgan Stanley and Investec. At Investec he focussed on Treasury and the bank’s propriety investment portfolio. During this time he worked across a business model change from an institutional to retail funding strategy, consolidating Treasury operations across Europe into London and building investment portfolios through periods of exceptional market turbulence. His role within the Treasury encompassed the management of a £10bn balance sheet and working with stakeholders across asset and liability teams to reach commercial success. Alex has a BSc (Hons) in Business Administration from the University of Bath, which included an exchange semester at the Schulich School of Business in Toronto. He is a full CFA Charterholder.

Diana Kyd-Rebenburg

Herriot-Watt MIM ’15

Diana is currently enrolled in the MBA program of the Danube University Krems. Previously she obtained a MA in Management, Economics and Marketing from Herriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland, and a postgraduate degree in International Relations of the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna, Austria. She worked in southern Africa with the German Development Service (GIZ) in the field of economic development focusing on public-private partnerships and CSR and in India on an educational development project. For the past three years she was a risk analyst for OeKB / Euler Hermes, an international credit insurance company, analyzing the liquidity risk and creditworthiness of SME’s and multinationals. She also co-founded a social enterprise aimed at the integration of young migrants and combating youth unemployment in Austria that won numerous awards including the Intercultural Achievement Award 2015 by the Austrian Government.

Laura Tobar

IE MBA ’15

Laura graduated from IE Business School as International MBA. During her studies she did an internship for the Emzingo Group in South Africa, where she worked with ANDE S.A. Chapter (Aspen Network of development entrepreneurs) in a project with social enterprises, which main goal was to support and promote education entrepreneurs to overcome common challenges and growth. Before the MBA she worked for a Telecommunication Services multinational in strategy, marketing and commercial areas. Laura has a B.A. in Business Administration from Univesidad de los Andes and is interested in social impact businesses that contribute to empower people of their own development and reduce inequalities.

TJ Williams

Stanford MBA ’15

T.J. Williams comes to the table with nearly 7 years of international experience in Asia and expertise in hospitality, finance, operations, strategic planning and process improvement. Most recently, he worked as Executive Director of Development for Sands China Limited in Macao where he oversaw US$500 million in capital processes and worked to fund over 40 projects. Prior to this, he was the founding Director of Financial Planning and Analysis and later the founding Director of Operational Analysis for Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, where he started and built both departments from the ground up. T.J. received his M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business and his B.A. from Stanford University.

Monica Sigrist

INSEAD MBA ’15

Monica earned an MBA degree from INSEAD, where she was the Forte Fellow for her class. While at INSEAD, Monica’s team won the Social Entrepreneurship Bootcamp 2014 for designing and pitching a viable business model for a social enterprise that provides mobile health care services to remote regions. Prior to business school, she was a Senior 2 Associate at Ernst & Young’s Financial Services Office in New York City where she served assurance and advisory clients such as banks and also hedge funds with approximately US$12B assets under management (AUM). Monica earned her CPA designation and is a CFA Level 3 Candidate. She has volunteered within the social sector in Colombia, Mexico, and Peru, and has traveled to and/or lived in over 40 countries. Monica holds a B.S. degree in Accounting, Spanish and International Studies, with a minor in International Business from Pennsylvania State University and graduated from its Schreyer Honors College.

Philip Reuchlin

INSEAD MBA ’15

Philip completed his MBA at INSEAD in Paris and Singapore, where he worked with the dean to develop an environmental strategy for the school. Prior to earning his MBA, Philip led the renewal of his family’s farm (organic fish farming and forestry) and started two companies. He was CEO of a tech startup, launching an app that connects owners of parking spaces to drivers, and was also the Co-Founder and Senior Advisor for a company that focused on utilizing agricultural waste to grow gourmet mushrooms. Philip previously worked for 3 years as speechwriter and strategy advisor to the President of World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), the world’s most influential CEO-led private sector association focused on sustainable development and climate change. He also worked for 4 years as a project manager for the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) on post-conflict reconstruction for natural disaster preparedness and hazardous waste trafficking. Philip also has a MSc. in Development Management from the London School of Economics and a B.A. from Utrecht University.

Martino Bonato

SDA Bocconi MBA ’15

Martino Bonato is a graduate of the MBA program at SDA Bocconi School of Management in Milan, Italy. Prior to starting business school Martino worked as consultant for a boutique consulting firm in Florence where he collaborated with the clients to plan, develop and execute social awareness campaigns. Martino also brings three years of experience heading projects in South America funded by the European Commission and the Italian Government. As the project coordinator of an international development projects spanning Bolivia, Argentina and Peru, he was responsible for the planning and development of multiple supply chains from raw material to finished product distribution. 
The company’s product portfolio ranged from cereal products to wine to textile and fabrics, and he played a key role as a liaison between the local communities, political authorities, educational and health institutions. His efforts helped bring several procurement projects to the region as well.
 Martino holds an B.A. and M.A. in Philosophy and Mathematics from the University of Siena. In university he was President of the Football Club.

Krista Aspiras

Paul Merage MBA ’15

Krista earned an MBA from the Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine, where she concentrated on Strategy and Marketing. At Merage, Krista was the President of the Net Impact Chapter, competed in the Hult Social Entrepreneurship Competition, and received the Paul Merage Visionary Award. During her MBA summer internship, she worked for the Emzingo Group in South Africa, where she worked with a community-based NGO to improve their operations model and strategy. Krista also interned at a multinational housewares company, where she drove sales growth through a focus on their digital marketing strategy. Prior to business school, Krista was the Hotel Operations Manager at PlumpJack Inn in North Lake Tahoe, CA, where she pioneered hotel-wide green initiatives that earned the inn a sustainable business certification. Krista holds a B.S. in Hotel Management, with dual minors in Spanish and Sociology, from CSU Chico.
