Matthew Hammink earned an MBA degree from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. Prior to business school, he worked in business development for CENAM Tecnologias, a Guatemala-based technology company focused on small-business marketing. In this role, Matt helped lead the company’s strategic expansion into online video advertising and social media management. He was also responsible for partnerships, in which role he helped expand the company’s customer base through cross-selling initiatives with major content providers. Prior to his work with CENAM, Matt was part of AOL’s Corporate Development team where he assisted in the overall execution of acquisitions and divestitures. In his spare time, Matt loves to play soccer and tennis as well as take his dog Ferdie out for walks. Matt is from Washington D.C., and is fluent in English and Spanish. He holds a BBA in finance and international business from George Washington University.
Babson MBA ’14
Maria Becerra earned an MBA degree from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College. During her business school summer, Maria worked with Mario Hernandez, a Colombian company in the fashion and retail industry that was selected to be part of the Endeavor Colombia program. In this role, she focused on initiatives to strengthen the company’s corporate governance and organizational structure. During this summer she also worked for Bib and Tuck, an e-commerce startup with a unique value proposition. During her time at Babson, Maria was actively involved in multiple student organizations, including the Babson Association of Women MBAs, for which she was Vice President. Prior to attaining her MBA degree, Maria worked as a financial analyst in a variety of industries, including education, chemical fertilizers, airlines, and infrastructure. Maria is originally from Bogotá, Colombia, and she is fluent in Spanish, English and French. She holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Los Andes University in Bogotá.

Karl Wienhold earned an MBA of Global Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. Before, during, and after his time at Thunderbird, he has been working as an international business and strategy consultant for more than 6 years, specializing in international trade and agriculture, and has launched several entrepreneurial endeavors in the US and Colombia. During this time he has had the opportunity to live in Spain, Brazil, and Colombia and travel to more than 30 countries on 5 continents, working with a diverse list of clients including Proexport Colombia, Oxfam, and Endeavor. He has been a Latin America enthusiast for years, but first came to Colombia in early 2012 and immediately knew he would one day call it home. He is dedicated to economic and social development in Latin America, especially in rural agricultural communities of Colombia.

Jeffrey Goudie earned an MBA degree from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College. Prior to business school, Jeffrey served as Director of Operations for Gymboree Play & Music, a play program specializing in the development of children 0-5 years old. During his time at Gymboree he developed an affinity for both strategy development and increasing operational efficiencies. Jeffrey has also worked as a consultant for Terraboost Media, a media startup focused on niche out of home media. While at Babson, Jeffrey co-founded and was co-president of The Design Thinking Club, whose goal was integrating design thinking methodology into the entrepreneurial mindset. Jeffrey’s interests focus on utilizing his business skills to help social enterprises expand their impact, especially within clean energy and recycling. Jeffrey is originally from Miami, Florida, U.S., and he is fluent in English and Spanish. He holds a B.S. degree from Florida International University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Darden MBA ’14
Clare Seekins earned an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. Thus far, her work experience has spanned the private sector, political campaigns, and the non-profit sector. Most recently, she has focused on supporting entrepreneurs and small business owners through capacity development and innovative financing methods. Her work has taken her to Kosovo, Egypt, Atlanta, and Nicaragua. She is passionate about problem solving and aims to use her MBA to continue to support smart, deliberate development. She is also an avid soccer player and has plans to learn a martial art and one day get a dog and name it Otis. Clare lived in 5 different states across the U.S. before heading to the University of Virginia, where she earned BA degrees in Anthropology and Political Theory, with a minor in Spanish. She also holds a M.A. in international affairs from The New School in New York City, focusing on Economic Development and Conflict/Security.
Ana Bertha Del Real
Tufts MIB ’14
Ana Bertha Del Real earned a Masters in International Business from the Fletcher School at Tufts University, with concentrations in Innovation and Technology Management and Development Economics. She combined these fields with the intent to build a career focused on promoting and accelerating innovation, entrepreneurship and economic development. During her time in Boston, she collaborated with startups as part of working groups from Harvard Law School and MIT. She has experience in Foreign Direct Investment promotion and worked for the Mexican government before coming to BizCorps. Ana has also previously worked with large multinationals like Osram, Volkswagen and General Motors, specializing in manufacturing industries and local supplier development. In her spare time, she volunteers for initiatives that promote the study of science in high schools and colleges, with the “Club de Ciencias Mexico.” Ana is originally from Mexicali, Mexico, and she is fluent in English and Spanish. She holds a B.A. in International Business from San Diego State University.

Yulia Khvan earned an MBA degree from the Yale School of Management (SOM). She is particularly interested in CPG startups and product management and she focused her time in graduate school on learning skills applicable for pursuing this interest. She also co-led the Private Equity and Venture Capital club at Yale SOM. Prior to business school, Yulia worked for 5 years in arbitration law and dispute resolution with firms and governmental institutions in Europe, Middle East, Asia and North America. In her most recent pre-MBA role, she was in charge of more than 300 high profile cases at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce’s international arbitration court where claims in dispute exceeded $1B USD. In her spare time, Yulia relentlessly cheers for Rafael Nadal and experiments with black-and-white film cameras. Yulia is originally from Uzbekistan and she is fluent in Russian, French, and Spanish. She holds an LLM degree from the Stockholm University.
